Note: The functional descriptions presented here for cable ducts are equally true of pipeline and earth cable routes.

When plotting cable ducts, the program stores cable duct data on their central axes if:

Using the DATA function, you previously made a corresponding program setting,

Connecting the cable duct to another cable duct on which data has already been stored. In that case, the data of the existing cable duct is transferred to the one being connected to it.

The DATA function serves the purpose of managing cable duct data. Clicking on this function opens a dialog box, which you can use to manage your cable duct data settings. Anytime you edit cable layout plans, you should use this function to first check all your cable duct data settings and make any necessary changes. Said data is applied when plotting new cable ducts not connected to any existing routes. Likewise, it is applied for cable duct connections involving more than one central axis in the program, for example, in drawings involving cable duct junctions.

Moreover, the DATA function allows both individual and group dates changes to cable ducts even after they have been plotted.
