The cable overview plan is where the cable logic of the signals, track switches and switching devices is defined. ProSig features a range of functions, which, based on either a signal overview plan or a combination of signal layout and cable route plan, make it possible to develop the appertaining cable overview plan.

These functions further accommodate an extensive range of dependencies based on the type of cabling elements, the potential for mutual influence of their regulating currents on one another, their regulation distances and the electrical limit values of the cables themselves. This helps avoid any errors likely to occur in manual planning as a result of underestimating the vast complexity of cable dependencies.

Rounding off this part of the program is a validation function for cable overview plans. It involves checking all cabling objects for completeness, checking all cable lines for possible interruptions right up to the interlocking point and checking the electrical limit values of the cables themselves.
