There are two fundamentally different, alternative methods of presenting construction statuses in a CAD project:

Method 1:

When planning a construction status, it is recommended to label construction statuses by merely marking the relevant elements; i.e., without using external references. It is a guaranteed way to maintain consistency throughout all the graphical groups.

It is also a guaranteed way to maintain all construction statuses in one drawing. To display the individual construction statuses for subsequent plotting as needed, you can use the SHOW CONSTRUCTION STATUSES function.

Method 2:

Only when the planning process of a construction status is (likely) complete and includes large-scale drawings is it recommended to produce assembly/disassembly drawings. Here the individual construction statuses are no longer maintained in just one drawing. Instead, the program assigns them to individual construction status drawings. If you want to display or plot construction statuses individually, then you need to open the corresponding, separate construction status drawing.

If you want to change a construction status (e.g., for planning a construction status of the next higher priority level), it is recommended to remove its assignment to assembly/disassembly drawing and to insert the assembly drawing as a block.

Note: This method should NEVER be applied in ProSig projects.

The following applies to both methods:

Should retroactive changes become necessary, it is recommended to undo assembly/disassembly.
