Setting Up Planning Project

Process:

•Setting up the ETCS Level 2 Planning project and Defining the Project attributes

Requirements:

•Complete PT1 planning in an EPU Project

Description:

The Planning of ETCS Level 2 is executed in a Signalling layout plan, which is part of an EPU Planning project.
 
 

Procedure:

1.It is necessary to initialize the project as ETCS L2 Project at the beginning of the planning in order to make the functionalities available for ETCS L2 in an EPU project. There are two options for this.

oIf the data set with the specified addresses from the customer already exists, the project is initialized as an ETCS L2 project by Importing the corresponding ETCS Data Point Addresses.

oIf the data set with the given addresses is not yet available, the project has to be initialized with the command PRS_SET_ETCSL2_PRJ as ETCS L2 Project. During ETCS L2 Planning, it is possible at first to use temporary data point addresses. As soon as the data set with the specified addresses is available, the Importing ETCS Data Point Addresses should be performed.
 

2.Execute the function 'Edit Project Object'.

Ribbon: ProSig EPU -> Tools -> Edit Project Object

oIn ETCS Level 2 Planning project, the attribute 'Baseline' is used to set the baseline after which the project is planned.
