Process:

Import of a default address set for data points (Balise).

Requirements:

Before starting the project, the data set containing the default addresses has to be requested from the DB network (currently in form of a TXT file)!

Setting Up Planning Project

Description:

During planning, data points are assigned unique identity by their designation. The designation for a particular data point is derived from a set of default addresses. This address set must be identified prior to planning the data points in the ProSig project, where it is administered as source:

When assigning a data point designation, only one address can be selected from the set of default addresses.

A selected address is removed from the list. Each address can therefore be used only once.

When the address for the designation of a data point is changed, the old address is returned to the database. Therefore it is available again for the assignment of a data point designation.

Procedure:

1.Start the function 'ETCS Address Import'.

Command line: ZBS_IMPORT
Ribbon: ProSig EPU -> Equipment ETCS -> ETCS Address Import

oA dialog is displayed for opening files. Text files with the file name ending in *.TXT are pre-filtered.

2.Using the Open-File dialog, open the file containing the default addresses for the data points.

3.A preview window opens, displaying the contents of the file.

oWith the button 'OK' the imported data from the selected file is confirmed. The data point addresses are then imported to the ProSig project.

oWith the button 'Cancel' the imported data can be aborted.
