ProSig provides a number of functions that make it possible to configure and edit SCT objects such as switches, signals, axle counters and complex relationship structures such as track topology, track clearance sections, track routes and flank protection. Therefore, a ProSig project is required to process projects with the ProSig 7 EPU version.

At the end of the activities, the automatic data export is either into the PT1 tables or into a structured text file in XML format, which contains all relevant information about a station or a CBI. Among other things, this interface data file is used as a basis for project planning by interlocking manufacturers.

The help texts deal centrally with the relevant planning processes, the functions that are provided for this purpose in ProSig (especially the user dialogs) and the descriptions of the necessary SCT objects. In particular, the description of the SCT objects is based on the PlanPro glossary, which is currently available in version 1.8.0 (see references in the text).
