Insertion and Editing of Local Control Area Zones

Requirements:

Creation of Local Control Areas

Description:

The Local Control Area Zone (LCA Zone) is a dot-like object that is represented in the drawing by a circle.

In the PlanPro glossary, the object is formulated as follows:

LCA Zone (NB_Zone)

As a rule, every local control area includes at least one LCA zone; several zones are also possible.

The Zones can be independently adjacent, overlapping, or a Zone can be a smaller 'subset' of a larger Zone. As a special case, it is also possible to combine two adjacent zones.

Each Zone has its own borders to the adjacent area (CBI, LCA, Local control area).

DB Rules and Regulations:

DB AG does not have a set of rules and regulations for the planning of Local Control Area Zones.

This information can be found in the Non-remote operations table, column 1.

Procedure:

1.Start the function EPU-Object Inserter and select the Object type 'LCA Zone'.

Command Line: PRS_EPU_EINF

2.With the button 'Paste' a new object 'LCA Zone' can be inserted into the drawing.

oWhen inserting, select a point near the local control area. Local control area should have at least one zone.

oThe Object LCA Zone is a PSO and receives a graphical representative (circle) in the project drawing. The Object is stored on the layer PRS-LCA ZONE.

3.After the insertion, all relevant data can be specified using the function Edit Object(s).

Command Line: OE

Ribbon: ProSig EPU -> Tools -> Edit Object(s)

oThe Attribute 'Name' (A) is displayed in the drawing and the name of the corresponding Locally Controlled Area (C) and the LCA Zone Name (B) are separated by '/'.

oFor the Attribute 'Local control zone identifier' (B), enter the numerical order number of the LCA Zone within the Local control area.

oThe Attribute 'Locally controlled area' (C) is used to specify the associated Local control area.

oWhen several zones which are subordinate to a main zone (D) have been assigned to a sequence of zones which is necessary for activation or deactivation, a rank should be entered for each zone via the attribute 'Rank' (E).

oBy selecting the attribute 'Show link' (F) the linking of the LCA Zone with the corresponding Local control area can be displayed.
