Process:

Creating the Track Type with the EPU-Object Inserter.

Requirements:

Assigning the Route Data

Description:

The Track type is an Area Object and describes the classification of the track from an operational point of view. It is stored as an area object along the topological edge when inserted. Topological nodes (switches or crossings) do not interrupt the track type. The Attribute 'Track type' can be used to differentiate between main and secondary tracks (in stations), line and connecting tracks. For a different track type, select 'Sonstige' here and explain it with a comment.

Currently, two different options are offered for inserting this object into the drawing. On the Creating the Track Type page, you can find the detailed process description for determining track types using the ribbon.

Information on the formulation of the object in the PlanPro glossary can be found on the page Creating the Track Type under the description.
