Creating the Planning Basis

The functions are based on the track topology, which is derived from the track set. The track set is primarily imported from the DB-GIS and if necessary it needs to be reworked with the track construction functions.

In detail, the following steps have to be processed:
 

•Setting up Planning Project

•Import the PlanPro-XML

•Import of Chainage, Switches and Gradient Data from GND

•Determining the Planning Direction

•Assigning the Route Data

•Insertion of Derailers

•Post-Editing the Switch Data and Crossing Data

•Insertion of Track Closures

•Creation of Gradient Data

•Inserting the Fouling Point Markers
